Our parent company “The Toolshed” first opened in 1993 in the Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield, England and is still going strong today.

We brought in a small range of “Braces” and opened a second store in the Trafford Centre, Manchester.

Tommy Walsh and his Groundforce Team were doing a Photo-Shoot in the Trafford Centre some time later and he asked to borrow a tool pouch.

I had seen Tommy on T.V. wearing a pair of plain red Braces and invited him to look at our range. He told me he had just the one pair so I supplied him with 5 more (our full range at that time) which he then went on to wear during the following series of Ground Force. The braces became synonymous with Tommy and his trade mark so to speak. He later brought out his own design of Tommy braces which we have in stock and also have a pair signed by the man himself!

We now have in stock over 100 different designs for all manner of Trades, Hobbies and pastimes. Many of which are exclusive to ourselves in the UK.

Customers were travelling many miles for our braces so we decided to have a website dedicated to the sale of our Braces.

To compliment the new website we have added a range of our Scissors, Knives and Multitools, all of which are popular with all kinds of Work and Leisure.
